  • Upload photos

    You can upload your photos in personal photo albums on www.panthermedia.net.

    Simply proceed as follows:

    1. 1. Log in with your details in the login section at the top.
    2. 2. In your login area go to "My photos" in the top menu bar.
    3. 3. You now have the option to select your target photo album. Either select a new album or upload your photos to am existing album. To create a new photo album, please go to "Create new album", choose a name and then click on it. A menu appears and you can click on "Add photos" to upload photos to the photo album as described in step 4. If you have already created an album, simply click on it and then go to "Add photos".
    4. 4. In the photo upload window, please click on the first "Search" to search your computer for the photos that you would like to upload.
    5. 5. Look for photos on your computer in the pop-up box, click on each photo, and then go to "Open". Repeat this step by clicking on the other "Search" buttons for all the other photos you would like to upload. Once you have done this, click on "Upload photos".
    6. 6. A display indicates that the upload process is underway. Wait until the process is complete before clicking on another element.
    7. 7. When the upload process is complete, you will be redirected back to the overview of your photo albums.

    Please note: If you upload a digital photo to your online account, only a copy of the photo is stored in your account.

    The original of your digital photo still remains on your computer. You can upload photos from the hard drive of your computer, from a disc, a CD, a DVD or directly from a digital camera connected to the computer.

    1. 1. What resolution should my photos have in order to be used to design products?

    3. 2. How long does it take to upload photos to www.panthermedia.net?

    4. The upload speed depends on the speed of your internet connection. With a 1Mbit/s broadband connection it takes around 50 seconds to upload a digital photo of 500 KB . The faster the internet connection, the less time you need to upload your photos.

    5. 3. Is there a charge for uploading photos?

    6. No. It is free to upload and share your digital photos apart from the related internet fees!

    7. 4. Which format must my photos be in order to upload them to my Snapfish user account?

    8. You can upload any picture in JPEG format (.jpg, .jpeg, .jpe) Please note: If you upload a digital photo to your online user account, only a copy is stored in your user account. The original of your digital photo still remains on your computer.

    9. 5. Why can I not see any file extension for my photo files?

    10. If the names of your files do not end with a dot and a three or four Do rgeEnden -letter extension (.jpg, .zip, etc.), the extensions at the end of the file names may be hidden by your computer. This setting is easy to change:

    • a. Windows PC
      1. 1. Click on "Start" on the desktop and select "Settings" and then the option "Control Panel" in the menu which appears on the right.
      2. 2. Double click on "Folder Options".
      3. 3. Click on the "View" tab at the top of the window.
      4. 4. Deactivate the check box "Hide file extensions for known file types" and click on OK to confirm the change.
      5. 5. All file extensions should now be displayed.

      Please note: These steps could vary slightly on older Windows operating systemsp>

    • b. Apple / MAC
      1. 1. Click on the "Finder" drop-down menu at the top of the browser window.
      2. 2. Select "Preferences".
      3. 3. In the next window click on the "Advanced" symbol.
      4. 4. Check the "Show all file extensions" box".

      Please note: These steps could vary slightly on older Mac operating systems.

    1. 6. How long will my photos be stored on www.panthermedia.net?

    Your photos will be saved for an unlimited period as long as you are registered as a member. By definition, you are an active member when you place at least one order for prints, enlargements or photo gifts on the website every 365 days. If your user account is inactive for at least 335 days, we will inform you be e-mail that your online photos will soon be deleted.

    You then have the opportunity to reactivate your user account and thus access your online photos.
